Flynn Group is one of the largest roofing companies in Canada. Kee Safety partnered with Flynn Group to provide a fall protection solution for a senior care home in Niagara Falls, Ontario. They required a robust fall prevention solution for their rooftop, specifically for regular HVAC maintenance.
The site needed a fall protection system to ensure the safety of the maintenance crew during their work.
Initial site drawings were provided, but upon arriving at the site, Kee Safety installers found discrepancies between the drawings and the actual site conditions. This required them to re-engineer the solution on-site based on current conditions, ensuring a seamless installation process.
Kee Safety recommended the Kee Guard safety guardrail system, which met all the necessary safety requirements, and OBC compliance. It provided a secure fall protection barrier around the perimeter of the HVAC units. The modular design of Kee Guard allowed for a quick and cost-effective installation, minimizing disruption to the operations.
The Kee Guard fulfils the customer's requirement for rooftop safety and is also OBC (Ontario Building Code) compliant.
